Privacy Policy

1. Privacy by Architecture

Resolve is designed with privacy and user control at its core. We do not engage in continuous background screen recording, background audio monitoring, keystroke logging, or silent data harvesting.

2. How Screen Capture & Context Works

When you initiate a query using a screenshot or screen-attachment shortcut (such as Ctrl + Enter):

  • The desktop client captures an ephemeral snapshot of your primary display at that exact moment.
  • The image is sent directly and securely to the AI model provider selected in your preferences to process your request.
  • Once the AI response is delivered, the local temporary capture buffer is discarded.

3. Optional Cloud Sync

If you choose to enable Cloud Synchronization in the settings:

  • Your prompts, generated responses, and associated screen attachments are synced securely to the backend for history recall across sessions.
  • You can toggle or disable Cloud Sync at any time directly from the overlay controls.

4. License & Account Information

To validate your access and manage active subscriptions, we process minimal account data including your email address, license key identifier, and hardware authorization hash. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third-party data brokers.

5. Third-Party AI Processors

Depending on your model selection (Gemini, Claude, Kimi, OpenRouter, Bedrock), prompts and screen data are processed according to the respective provider's data handling agreements and API privacy commitments.

6. Security & Encryption

All communications between the Resolve client, sync backends, and AI API endpoints use industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3).
